Job Summary

The ideal talent will own the marketing strategy and plan to drive BD Biosciences flow cytometry reagents growth in CASAJ (Central, South Asia and Japan) Research, Clinical and Bio-Pharma markets. Responsibility includes but not limited to Market Development, Product Launch Excellence and Go-to-Market Strategies.

You are expected to create compelling omnichannel campaigns to reach new customer segments and help drive new qualified leads and sales opportunities. Should be able to translate scientific knowledge to repurpose solutions, develop high-quality content and collateral, and support customer events and conferences.

You are also a strategic thinker who thrives on collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, global and country marketeers and has a learning agility to adapt and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and long-term regional marketing strategy that defines market development, marketing activities, promotions strategies and related objectives for flow cytometry reagents.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute regional marketing plans, including evidence generation, market shaping, advertising and promotion, sales tools, seminars and KoL Management etc.
  • Design and run market- and segment- specific Omnichannel marketing campaigns in partnership with Global Marketing, Country Marketing, Digital marketing, and other key stakeholders.
  • Translate science, technology, & customer requirements into marketing messages and product positioning, and effectively communicate that to country teams and customers.
  • Conduct technical product and positioning training for internal and external customers.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with global and country marketing leaders, R&D and Medical/Scientific Affairs, Public Affairs, and external stakeholders to expand the scope and utility of flow cytometry to newer application areas for incremental growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams Finance, Supply chain, Applications, Country Marketing and Commercial teams —to execute go-to-market strategy and drive new product launch excellence.
  • Conducts analysis required for strategic decision support relating to target markets, market segmentation, SWOT analysis, competitive intelligence, and product positioning.
  • Develop competitive strategies through competitive intelligence and market analysis.
  • Support country teams in competitive pricing for flow cytometry reagents.
  • Develop high impact educational and engagement programs to strengthen BD’s knowledge leadership in flow cytometry.
  • Build and enrich KOL relationships, collaborations, and partnerships in support of regional marketing objectives.
  • Create compelling content and marketing assets to drive demand generation and accelerate product adoption.
  • Maintain oversight and perform ongoing in-depth pricing analysis of portfolio products across countries, to identify areas of improvements. Ensure country pricing and commercial strategies are in line with overall regional / global guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented.
  • Support additional marketing efforts as required by the CASAJ team.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in Life Sciences and/or Marketing (MBA preferred)
  • Prior exposure to flow cytometry and/or exposure and experience of application, market development/market shaping in the field of Immunology, Cancer cell biology or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager and/or Marketing Manager in Life Sciences.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly articulate technical and scientific product information to both internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to travel to help both internal and external customers.
  • Results oriented and highly motivated to succeed. Enthusiastic and independent.
  • Meticulous and organized in strategy deployment.
  • Ability to interact well with all levels of associate within country and region to drive revenue generation and smooth business operations.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
