Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Advise, counsel and instruct individual employees, teams, facilitators, area management and appropriate personnel relating to Continuous Improvement activities. Conduct benchmarking and share best practices with other plants. Responsible for performing Six Sigma tasks in a highly regulated manufacturing environment including: Performing verifications and validations to validate the processes. Performing bias studies, engineering studies and qualifications on equipment for improved process control. Identify problems (quality, cost, flow etc.), and implement solutions to processes and products in the plant, including Engaging in value stream mapping, process mapping, and performing time studies to improve production capacity, reduce setup times and cost. Using lean tools including ABC analysis, and Pareto charts to identify significant process and product problems. Engineer solutions to problems identified. Assure continuous improvement by continuously monitoring processes and projects to reduce issues and complete projects to increase process efficiency and reduce waste in the plant. Perform Kaizen activities to identify and resolve issues. Set expectations for direct reports and provide timely feedback. Work with minimal supervision. Present results verbally and in writing. Perform all of the foregoing using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP.
