Associate Global Product Manager – Molecular Diagnostics and Women’s Health and Cancer (MDx/WHC)

The Associate Global Product Manager is accountable for the achievement of key marketing functional goals at a product line level for BD MDx/WHC portfolio, with primary focus on the managing downstream marketing tools, collateral, and supportive claims. The role will have responsibility for team activities in support of Global initiatives and regional marketing teams. This associate will influence and guide the downstream initiatives and recommendations impacting sales and when needed product level allocations. Additionally, this role will focus on the development of the associate as it relates to marketing expertise including portfolio strategy, branding, product development and forecasting. This position will work closely with Global Marketing and Product Managers to drive the business group achievement of financial performance and marketing excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with global marketing teams in driving new product tools, collateral, and messaging through the BD IDS Veeva Vault process including review of documentation to support claims.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to confirm supportive claims for regional usage.

  • Manages all aspects of product management plans for portfolio to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies relating to product demand and allocation needs.

  • Works in conjunction with other BD marketing teams to identify opportunities to improved product collection devices as well any other associated ancillary products applicable to the MDx/WHC platforms.

  • Responsible for working closely with regional marketing and sales teams to update and develop sales training tools for associated product line.

  • Curates and manages WHC/MDx collateral at Global and Regional level in order to ensure content and branding is kept current.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness and/or Marketing or Life Sciences (ex. Biology)

  • Minimum of2years in product and/or market management. Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development.

  • Prefer minimum of 2 years of business experience in the life science industry.

  • Demonstrates effective communication and presentation skills and can work internationally with diverse cultures.

  • Has a history of achieving and delivering against key objectives and timelines.

  • Able to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision. 

  • Flexibility to travel 25% of the time.
