  • Maintain complete, accurate and legible record keeping functions including but not limited to Excel spreadsheets.

  • Responsible for providing support to Production by safely supplying and removing material to and from the shipping production area while maintaining product identify/traceability/material status and assisting in functional areas of the Department.

  • Will be responsible for processing cannula through the pack for shipment area.  This includes unloading and loading shipping cartridges and shipping boxes.

  • Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to work with SAP for the electronic transfer of product

  • Must be able to work with MES for the electronic transfer of product

  • Must have the ability to speak, read and write English

  • This person reports to the Shift Coordinator and shall be able to work accurately with limited supervision.

  • Regular, punctual attendance is required.

  • Able to work accurately with limited supervision.  Has a concern for timeliness.  Accepts responsibilities and can communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, customers and shipping.

  • No lifting restrictions.  Handling 50 lbs. per shift is not uncommon.  This job requires 

        being able to work on your feet.


  • Weigh cartridges and waste on Weight Count and Pack and document

  • Create C Batches and track weekly

  • Create and print delivery notes

  • Match POs with shipments for accuracy

  • Maintain open delivery notes by customer

  • Maintain ZULA

  • Prepared shipments to both internal and external customers – assemble, fill and load boxes on pallets

  • Quarterly inventory and utilizing correct storage locations

  • Convert part numbers

  • Create, Move, Merge, Manage LPs

  • Investigate any concerns regarding inventory

  • Work closely with planners and Coordinators to meet shipment requirements while maintaining shipping spreadsheets

  • Verify final audit report against batch numbers on shipments

  • Work with Champion to maintain accurate cartridge counts and assure that master data is correct

  • Maintain organized work space

  • Assist with projects, EWOs, Validations and Engineering Studies

  • ECC Access and error troubleshooting (untecoing orders, remove deletion flag, over deliveries, etc.)


Reports directly to product line coordinator or takes direction from shift coordinator and has no authority over others.  Able to work effectively in a team, accurately, and with limited supervision. Executes additional duties as required by coordinator. Must be familiar with all specifications as outlined in the Manufacturing Set-up Procedures, Understand Process Specifications, Preventative Maintenance and Quality System Manual, blueprints, and GMP manuals, which pertain to this operation. Be available to report to work during off shift hours if material needs to cross the scale for production purposes. Must comply with department protective clothing, safety and management policies. Must be familiar with specifications and documentation associated with operations of this position.

  • High School diploma or GED

    Desired Education/Knowledge

    • Knowledgeable of SAP abnd MES functions

    • Computer Operation including Microsoft Exel

      Level of Experience needed:

    • No previous experience required.

    • Previous manufacturing experience desired.
