Job Description Summary

Perform a variety of duties which require a thorough understanding of the organization and processes employed by the department managers and staff, as well as routine office procedures.

This position will provide support for several groups within the Marketing Department (i.e., Marketing Communications and E-Marketing) and must have the ability to work independently, prioritize and exercise mature judgment and discretion in all matters.

Job Description

Communications and Compliance:  
•    Provide assistance with the Compliance Review process.  This includes but is not limited to: 
o    pulling historical files for verification and supporting documentation
o    copy of data and/or references for submissions
o    file management
o    master database management
o    verify required information per procedure included prior to filing
•    Manage the Corporate Law process for granting permission to use photos, videos and web links.
•    Manage the Marketing Literature Inventory Management System.  This includes but is not limited to:
o    Upload new materials and pull down depleted materials
o    Implementation of processes required for low inventory levels and reordering
o    Assist with quoting process for clinical reprints
o    Communicate with Marketing regarding reprinting, costs involved and timing

E-Marketing: 

  • Update numerous databases to include but not limited to: BMD website, BMD mobile website, Sale-Extranet, resource library, cross reference etool, on-line product catalog international database, etc.  (Responsibilities include weekly updates to the databases with data and collateral material that have been approved through the compliance system.)
  • Maintain convention calendar for digital activities
  • Manages and makes changes to corporate website (CRBard) and is BMD expert for corporate CMS
  • Manages the website compliance system 
  • Develops and maintains skills/ knowledge to interact with the BMD Customer Maintenance System (CMS) for the web site
  • Develops and maintains skills/ knowledge to interact with the mobile website (CMS) - Umbraco
  • Maintain and updates the Bard Medical web site with the latest information as defined by the manager
  • Provide timely communications to customers who request information via the bard.medical@crbard.com email box and bard.care@crbard.com
  • Develop and maintain a master customer database that is utilized for interactive marketing activities, such as emails/direct mails, etc.  Input will come from multiple sources to include but not limited to:  convention leads, webinars and web site registrations
  • Update Silverpop database on a routine basis for different email activities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support for the Marketing Communications and eMarketing groups to include but not limited to;
    • Process and track PO’s and check requests
    • Assist with budget reports as needed
    • Assist with International promotional collateral requests which includes verification of inventory levels, processing of order, cross-charge and communications
    • Assists mail room with marketing projects (i.e., assembly of launch kits, direct mailers, etc.)
  • Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • 3-5 years work experience
