3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Mon - Thur)This position will require the ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis; 50+ pounds or more regularly.

This position is responsible for assisting Distribution Management with daily shipping activities as required:

  • Tracks and closes out all orders within the required shipping windows for the various modes of transportation. 

  • Organizes the personnel in all areas that require the completion of orders.

  • Prioritizes and monitors replenishment activities to ensure product is available to the pickers in order to close out the orders.

  • Ensures there is opportunity for the pickers to meet their picking goals.

  • Assigns the priority of orders being picked and verifies accuracy of picks on computer.

  • Assists Team Lead with researching and resolving incorrect picks.

  • Monitors the picking process by using the system to control various modes of transportation released to the Picker.

  • Locates, researches, and determines cause(s) of missing totes and/or cartons.

  • Monitors picking of orders to ensure Domestic palletization lanes are not overloaded.

  • Communicates with other Clerks, Team Leads and Customer Service regarding shelf life issues for domestic orders.  Resolves issues.

  • Communicates with Customer Service regarding LMR product and orders.

  • Monitors Priority and 2-Day orders.

  • Closes out 48 Hour Report daily.

  • May be required to operate forklift for replenishment.

  • May pick and/or pack orders in Pick Pack and Brown Box to ensure timely completion of orders.

  • May pick cases in Label Pick to ensure timely completion of orders.

  • Fills in for the Team Lead in their absence.

  • Must be able to perform all duties of all jobs within assigned work area.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

  • Participate in SR development/testing.

  • Required to run hourly associate production goals and shows associates.

  • Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.

  • Must take safety first and be able to work diligently to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedure designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. 

  • Regular and reliable attendance at work.

  • May be required to waive orders in High Jump.

  • Monitors the sorter and ensures that its uptime is improved.

  • Responsible for training associates where required.

  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Must be familiar with basic MS Office:  Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.​

  • Must have excellent teaming and communication skills.  

  • Familiar with RF Scanning Devices

  • General QSR knowledge

  • Certified to operate a forklift preferred but not required.

  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form and adapt to shifting priorities.

Education and or Experience:

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent required.

  • Experience with JDE and High Jump preferred.

Must be able to communicate well with the following:

  • All departments of the GDC

  • Peers

  • Supervisors

  • Managers

  • Customer Service

Physical Demands:

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, crouching, reaching, grasping, talking, hearing, sitting, twisting, lifting and frequent repetitive motion in the use of hands to finger, handle, feel, grasp or pick.  The employee may occasionally be required to kneel, push, pull  The lifting requirements can be over 50 lbs. 

Working Conditions:

The job can have frequent exposure with moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions and vibration, work in high, precarious places and have fumes/airborne particles.
