Brand and Digital Marketing Manager – Services

Job Description Summary

OVERVIEW:
The WW Brand and Digital Marketing Manager – Services supports development of the brand strategy for services and is responsible for execution of digital campaign development, management and execution across multiple channels and regions for the purpose of generating awareness of new offering and demand through new leads.

Responsibilities include the overall development of the strategy, design and implementation of digital campaigns, corresponding software elements and measurement in terms of investment, return and effectiveness. They also include design and execution of campaigns in collaboration with Regional marketing, Portfolio marketing and the Global Marketing Manager -Services and Marketing Communications, including overall messaging and content development.

This role will demonstrate marketing competencies such as brand strategy and marketing planning and execution as well as advanced knowledge of digital marketing, social media and internet trends and practices, Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo), CRM (SFDC) and make recommendations on appropriate platforms and methodologies based on business needs.

The position reports to the Global Director, Omni-Channel Marketing and Content Strategy in the BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems Marketing organization, with functional reporting to the Global Sr Manager Marketing - Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute tactics for building traffic and growing customer base through online media and SEO

  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing Manager – Services to determine the optimal marketing mix to achieve business goals

  • Support execution of Services strategy through defining and executing marketing programs and digital campaigns in collaboration with the Global Marketing Manager – Services 

  • Develop digital campaigns focused on product, services, solutions and/or program area, managing and technically execute digital marketing strategy and campaigns for customer engagement, promotion of products and/or services and solutions - including content marketing, digital advertising, organic search, paid search, social media and prioritization of web content

  • Leads and implements small to medium scope digital projects

  • Leads translation of business objectives into IT requirements

  • Upholds and promotes application of visual standards in projects

  • Provides project coordination.  Support includes communicating project status with internal clients; identifying opportunities to collaborate with internal resources/departments; and supports overall project flow between graphic designers, web developers, IT resources, clients and vendors

  • Partners with commercial excellence to establish, forecast and report against key success metrics ex: #qualified marketing leads, leads conversion rate, marketing led revenue, pipeline of opportunity

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.  Master degree a plus

  • 5+ years work experience in marketing and/or branding products and/or services in pharmaceuticals, medical devices or as a supply to the pharmaceutical industry.  Experience in biotech companies and/or drug combination

  • products is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute marketing plans and programs and manage campaigns

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, client relations, design or agency

  • 5+ years experience online advertising and online awareness and acquisition campaigns and campaigns to increase sales to existing customers

  • Experience developing and technically executing social media campaigns (ex: set up audiences and manage media buys in LinkedIn)

  • Experience developing and executing web strategy and content to achieve customer and business goals

  • 5+ years experience within the interactive, multi-media/web or advertising industry

  • Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms and CRM systems a must.  Experience with the following systems a plus:

  • Marketo marketing automation platform

  • Ingenuix web,

  • Adobe CMS

  • SalesForce.com CRM

  • Knowledge of HTML coding,

  • PhotoShop and/or multi-media design with Video and other interactive graphics systems a plus

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Presentation ability to convey company/product messaging and positioning through simple, effective style that is clear, fresh and concise

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of team, with a proactive and creative attitude

  • Ambitious and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment
