  • Under the supervision of the Vice President, Marketing and Commercial Excellence, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing a digital marketing strategy for the US Diabetes Care business unit that represents approximately $570 million dollars of business for the US
  • Lead, drive, and implement digital marketing initiatives to support the key marketing strategies
  • This role presents an exciting and unique opportunity to manage and develop digital strategies for the US Diabetes care division with focus on core (pen needles and syringes), Safety and Advanced Diabetes Care (ADC)
  • Support all digital platforms including websites, social media, eCRM, eCommerce, Marketeo and analytics to track engagement for marketing optimization, with a focus on how digital can enhance traditional marketing techniques
  • Gain alignment with the business and working with the corporate digital marketing team and other internal/external partners to achieve the Diabetes strategy including digital roadmap development, IT resource alignment, platform management, engagement campaigns, social media, website development, eCRM, eCommerce,  as well as agency management and evaluation.


  • Depth of digital marketing knowledge, 2-3 years of digital marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Technologically savvy with ability to learn and understand new techniques quickly
  • Proven ability to work in matrix organization and comfort with ambiguity
  • A proactive, forward thinking approach to planning digital  strategies, anticipating issues and proposing creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in math
  • Experience in business-to-business consultation and strategy execution in a global marketing environment, digital agency or internal services group.
  • Proven experience leading digital program development and execution.
  • Strong experience and expertise in fundamental functional disciplines including marketing strategy, marketing processes and tools, market research and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and execution. Experience in planning monitoring and delivering strategic and tactical digital solutions with a focus on revenue growth and ROI.
  • Depth of experience and expertise in stakeholder management and effectively working in a matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Management of digital budget aligned to KPIs.
  • Lead tactical execution of digital tactics across all channels, as well as development of non-personal means to engage patients, HCPs and retailers
  • Experience with digital and social media platforms to engage HCPs and patients.
  • Strong strategic, creative and analytical mind.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate self and others to deliver exceptional business results
  • Digital marketing experience a plus
  • Diabetes or metabolic disease experience preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time

  • Project Management: Develop and execute against timelines for tactical projects on time and within budget, raising potential issues accordingly.
  • Performance Tracking: understands ratios by channels and creation of dashboards to tract metrics.
