JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee all eDiscovery aspects of the EDRM model, from policy application and implementation, retention, data collection, and remediation
  • Coordinate with internal departments including IT for document preservation, collections, and productions
  • Oversee external eDiscovery vendors including data and tool management, data culling, pricing estimates, and billing
  • Assist with Document Management and remediation efforts
  • Work with cross-functional teams to update and apply policies to document management and retention
  • Maintain awareness of laws, rules and industry best practices/processes as they relate to eDiscovery
  • Assist with Law Group applications and other technical functions as needed
  • Explain Document Retention processes, practices and policies in litigation
  • Act as primary liaison between clients and internal departments
  • Work with outside counsel on eDiscovery and document retention issues, including potential witness testimony
  • Successfully manage electronic discovery projects; work diligently to complete projects correctly and timely.
  • Become experts proficient in administering, managing and training clients on the functionality of all partner review applications.
  • Provide high quality consulting regarding electronic discovery, partner review applications, review strategies and workflows, and productions.
  • Work with client and project team to obtain clear project instructions and communicate same to internal departments.
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively provide solutions and troubleshoot issues while providing exceptional client service

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline)
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the e-discovery/ litigation support industry
  • Minimum 4-four years of experience working with litigation support software, such as Exterro and Relativity, as well as data management tools such as Workday, ProofPoint, Serengeti Legal Tracker, Moxy, OneDrive, and other file management tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of eDiscovery platforms such as Exterro and Relativity
  • Strong technical background, which can include, but is not limited to, business process analysis, database use and processing, use of electronic document review and analytic tools including TAR, facilitation and conducting eDiscovery training, information systems support
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism and strict confidentiality in all matters
  • Experience in Litigation Support and/or Project Management
  • Experience with metadata, load files, image files and relevant native file types
  • Detailed planning and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written, electronic and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding and efficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications
  • Manage timely completion of multiple requests, adjust and reprioritize according to changing needs
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude, combined with the ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking with minimal supervision
  • A positive attitude and open to learning new technologies
  • Ability to sustain a level head and logical approach under pressure
  • Technical problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box to solve complex requests
