Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing – Technology & Global Services - Remote

Job Description Summary

The role of the Sr. Manager for Digital Marketing is to provide technology partnership and analyst capabilities for the Central Marketing Digital Data & Analytics (DDA) team. The selected incumbent will be the technology expert representing the Technology & Global Services organization, working directly with the Central Marketing business team members to define, shape, execute and deploy technology solutions that enable the global marketing strategy. The BA for Digital Marketing will focus deployment of capabilities and integrations within and across Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Salesforce, SAP Hybris, DemandBase, PoolParty and other selected solutions to enable the digital marketing ambition.

The incumbent will partner with Marketing leaders and SMEs to define and shape their needs, translate them into technology proposals and align with internal technology roadmaps and standards.  Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will need to lead and successfully drive the execution of approved projects, thereby accountable to steering committees and marketing leadership teams for plans, status reports, and overall delivery within schedule and budget. This individual will collaborate with TGS Core area of delivery (Development, Data, Infrastructure), Vendors, Partners and the DDA team to orchestrate and ensure the successful delivery of project commitments. This role also has accountability for providing the team with hands-on support for the needed organisational change through consistent and meaningful touchpoints and experiences.

This management level position that will partner with senior leaders across the business and TGS, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Marketing Business Partner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with the Digital Data & Analytics Business Team members, understand their strategy and objectives, consult on technology solutions or options, and deliver on defined programs or projects

  • Understand DDA Operations as well as the Marketing and Sales processes across the business units and regions. 

  • Find opportunities to transform and optimize both processes and decision making with global technology platforms and best of breed technologies

  • Develop cases, technology proposals and drive alignment on priorities and needs across both TGS and DDA teams.

  • Drive program/project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes developing plans, handling issues, avoiding risk and delivering the output

  • Develop a set of targeted organisational change plans, including but not limited to, communication plans, roadmaps, mentor plans, training plans and contingency plans

  • Coordinate and/or lead large Technology and Platforms programs, projects or initiatives as needed

  • Partner with central Marketing team to adopt the continuous improvement mentality and activate it across the team

  • Collaborate with other TGS portfolio teams to integrate status and support project implementation

  • Serve as a continuous connector. Energized by a role that is focused on partnership and facilitation. Operates through the lens of what can we do to simplify and improve things

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, organisational change experience and exceptional communication and analytic skills together.

In addition, this person should also possess:

  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability in Technology enablement of Marketing and Sales Operations

  • Proven success in the shaping, execution and delivery of solutions such as AEM, Hybris, Marketo and DemandBase

  • Understanding and experience in Customer and Product Master data management and transformation

  • Experience in defining and delivering marketing analytics capabilities across a variety of tools and visualization platforms

  • Knowledge of technology operations and controls within an FDA regulated environment (Medical Device and/or Pharma)

  • Shows ability to identify and engage the key people needed to successfully plan and implement sophisticated projects or programs

  • Must have experience and knowledge of organisational change principles and methodologies and have the ability to formulate programs to generate excitement and engagement

  • Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations

  • Ability to advocate and communicate complex business challenges in a simplified manner; conversely, have the ability to communicate sophisticated technology concepts into business terms

  • Must be a high-energy, dedicated lead who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications

  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods

  • Highly collaborative work style which includes working optimally across all organizational levels

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity.  Able to align and work with diverse global collaborators of all levels

  • Leading by example, mentoring, and motivating others all around you.  Exemplifying humility, active listening, passion, commitment and customer focus

  • Deep analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.  Excellent judgment and decision-making

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or business related field is required. Certifications in Adobe AEM, Marketo, SalesForce and/or SAP is preferred.
