The Senior Manager, Global Business Process(MDS) is accountable for delivering effective and efficient global standardized business process solutions to achieve the highest level of service and quality to our customers and create significant financial value. As a member of the MDS Business Process team, this role will closely engage with Customer Facing and Integrated Supply Chain functions. This individual will be responsible for driving end-to-end business process integration, enabling process effectiveness, and improving customer experience. This role will lead the analysis, implementation and maintenance of end-to-end business processes, managing cross-process integration for the business. The role is responsible for partnering with business, regional, functional and technical stakeholders to design, deliver, sustain and continuously improve end-to-end integrated process and system solutions globally.

Impact: Responsible globally across MDS to deliver process improvement as it relates to the business process portfolio and execution of critical projects for Customer Experience and Supply Chain, including planning. Projects will be aligned to meet Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS), Key Driver Goals and business strategy over the Annual Strategic Review period. This position impacts global MDS financial performance as it relates to top line revenue goals and bottom line cost savings.

  • Lead, manage and oversee the development, improvement and implementation of business processes for Plan to Deliver, Customer Facing and Plan to Forecast aligned to priorities for the Business.
  • Partner with IT Functional Business Relationship Managers, Business Process Managers and Business Process Integrators to define and manage continuous process and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with other businesses and regions in developing global solutions to address business opportunities. 
  • Design, implement, and facilitate the roll out of system enhancements, continually assessing current and required business processes for improvements to maximize efficiencies.
  • Provide expertise in the design, application, and use of business processes and system integration.
  • Drive implementation of new systems and processes to meet business/regional needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, assess and manage risks and implement strategies to ensure successful delivery of the committed initiatives and associated efficiencies.
  • Ensure the business case justifications for system and process design enhancements are vetted across any integrated process areas and are complete and robust.
  • Manage the development, communication, and training associated with process enhancements.
  • Work across businesses, regions and functions to facilitate the standardization and adoption of best practice, including the application of business process, master data, definition of roles and responsibilities and system utilization.
  • Drive process optimization and promote commonality in processes, tools and systems settings using continuous improvement capabilities (Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, etc.).
  • Establish metrics to monitor business process health.


  • Bachelor’s degree required. B.S. in operations management, B.A. or related degree. Preferred Master’s Degree in a related discipline.
  • Trained or certified in at least one of the key skills (BI, Lean/CI, Project Management, Business Analysis, Agile, and Change Management) combined with a minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience supporting Supply Chain and/or Process Management.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and Continuous Improvement certification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel average 10%, varies.

  • Demonstrated end-to-end business process thinking; knowledge of present processes and ability to lead improvements that will constitute a desired future state
  • Customer centric focus and global orientation
  • Experience working within a complex virtual team environment and leading project activities
  • Experience in functional areas (e.g., Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Experience in projects accountable for leading change
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management and the tools used to effectively embed change in the organization


  • Ability to lead teams and drive for results
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced experience with SAP and Microsoft Programs
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and methodology
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis
