Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Applied Physics or a closely related discipline. 
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer designing both analog and mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies

Preferred

  • Masters or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Applied Physics or a closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer designing both analog and mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies
  • Hands-on experience with system-level hardware design, schematic capture and PCB layouts
  • Strong background in high-speed analog circuit design and direct experience with high-speed layout considerations
  • Experience with power supply design and in board level and module level signal integrity, power integrity, shielding and grounding
  • Experience with signal conditioning circuit design and through knowledge of circuit stability criteria, amplifiers, DACs and ADCs
  • Expertise in board bring up, use of lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, frequency analyzers, logic analyzers and digital multi-meters
  • Previous direct experience with medical device design considerations, electro-mechanical and system-level integration including design, development and qualification
  • Experience developing hardware products within a structured development process such as Medical Devices and/or DoD.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional team members to develop design artifacts, requirements and testing data and assist in system integration and troubleshooting. 
  • Experience with modeling, simulations, and sensitivity analyses desired.
  • Wifi and RF design and testing experience in 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
  • Low power design experience specifically in Fuel Gauge, Charger and Battery operation and power estimation with EMI/EMC.
