Support the department by ordering / returning materials from / to the warehouse ensuring that all operations have the proper materials to produce.  Also transports materials to & from all of the work areas (molding & assembly) in the department, to sterilization, to the warehouse and loading trucks / containers etc.  Will be an integral part of the monthly cycle count inventory process and work order review process.  Will work closely with quality and planner / schedulers in maintaining rejected materials and planning the future production schedules for all operations.  May be required to help operate equipment through breaks or fill in as needed.


Essential functions include but are not limited to:

Transport all in-process materials, finished materials or equipment by hand, tallyho, forklift or other available means necessary in order to maintain production.Responsible for coordinating the orderly storage and inventory for all materials using the changeover parking lot and designated storage locations.Must be able to do cycle count inventory and help investigate any discrepancies.Perform specific duties required on assigned machines when relieving for breaks or filling in.Responsible for transporting pallets of different product, empty totes / bubbles and finished product to proper locations.Responsible for the containment of rejected raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods. Work closely with associates in material movement, raw materials – WIP and finished goods.Assist in keeping personnel supplied with work material and correct supplies at all assigned operations.Regular attendance.


Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business.


Education Required:

H.S, Diploma/GED (if hired after 6/1/00) Internal transfers exempted

Read, write, and speak English

Experience and Knowledge

Fully describe the type of knowledge, skills or abilities required:  (e.g. tools, equipment, hardware or software).

  • Must be familiar with and able to maintain records of stock and its location.

Computer Skills Required for Position

Basic Keyboarding and navigational skills


On-the-job Training Period

A.  Upon placement into position, associate can expect to receive the following amount of training provided by a qualified trainer:

 6 weeks     

After training period is complete, additional learning will take place.  List the expected period of time for an associate to be considered proficient in this position:

 6 months
