Job Description Summary
To represent BDPI in a specific geographical area assigned by the company and take necessary action to attain sales objectives.Essential Job Functions:
1. Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
2. In forms customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies
3. Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals
4. Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively
5. Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data
6. Informs District Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity
7. Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints
8. Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions
9. Maintains company automobile and company property
10. Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Additional Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
1. Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BDPI products
2. Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits
3. Basic anatomy
4. Medical and surgical terminology
5. Through understanding of needs/analysis selling

7. Understands contract administration
Education and/or Experience:
1. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related area
2. Two or more years outside sales experience or equivalency
3. Demonstrated human relation and communication skills
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms to stoop, kneel or crouch.
