This position is responsible for inspecting and reworking the All-Purpose catheters.

Essential job Functions:

·Inspect catheters for defects (as required by procedures).

·Responsible for rework of product (as required by procedures).

·Responsible for reworking product rejected by QA for various defects.

·Responsible for filling out Inspection sheet for each tote completed.

·Must be able to take accurate measurements utilizing a French gauge (go – no go ruler gauges).

·Must be able to fill in for all Utility jobs in the department.

·Must be able to lift approximately 50 tote cases weighing up to 35 lbs.

·Must have accurate record keeping skills.

·Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.

·Maintain clean and organized work area as outlined in the GMPs.

·Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

1st shift, 5am -1pm- same training schedule

Physical Demands:


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls).
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with the assistance of drum moving equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.
  • The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses, gloves, and appropriate shoes.
