Job Description

BD is looking for a highly-motivated Marketing Automation Manager to join the US Marketing Team. This role is integral in leading our digital transformation efforts on a regional level, and accountable for ensuring the business meets short- and long-term financial goals through the execution of marketing automation strategies and programs, expansion of our demand generation efforts, and through the enablement of sales to meet digital-first customer demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable marketing strategies and business programs in a high-growth, fast-paced environment to drive brand awareness, eCommerce channel expansion, customer acquisition and conversion
  • Craft compelling messaging to engage and nurture target segments to through the customer lifecycle; orchestrate across channels and various mediums
  • Drive continuous improvement of business performance through benchmarking and implementation of new and creative strategies that adapt to a changing competitive landscape
  • Own the Marketo US region workspace—leverage the full potential of the platform to drive program maturity as well as sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders across a matrixed organization and highly regulated environment to drive successful strategy execution
  • Align and organize cross-functional teams comprised of product and campaign marketing managers, regional teams, designers, content teams, compliance, IT and QA resources for web initiatives
  • Drives customer-centric service delivery, quality production, and optimization for impact and efficiency
  • Coordinate with product marketing and digital/eBusiness teams to oversee the web page content, format, overall digital presence and customer experience
  • Collaborate with product marketing to consolidate and manage the tactical plans derived from new scientific evidence developed to support the strategic marketing goals

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Marketo certified expert license
  • 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, media or advertising
  • Strong technical background, experience working with marketing analytics, reporting best practices, pixel tracking systems, 3rd party technologies/agencies and requirements gathering
  • Experience with online lead funnels (generation, nurturing, scoring and conversion) using CRM such as Salesforce.com
  • Faces challenges with tenacity and an open and positive attitude toward problem solving
  • Experience working with CMS (content management systems)
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple priorities with limited resources
  • A good understanding of HTML & CSS
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time as required

Preferred qualifications:

  • Customer-obsessed with a background in healthcare, medical technology, life sciences or diagnostics
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment that challenges your creativity and analytical abilities
  • Equal parts strategic thinker and self-motivated hands-on executor  
  • Solid writing skills and experience creating digital content
  • Expertise in cross-channel program execution, management, and optimization
  • Experience with lead attribution and scoring
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and SFDC
