QUALIFICATIONS : Experience in building commercial digital products preferably in the HealthCare domain and 10+ years of experience in managing digital SaaS products. 5+ years in a leadership role required with teams of technical product managers overseeing SaaS products .

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the entire Software Technology Solutions (STS)’s product portfolio including the BD Connected platform and the products enabled through it  

• Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations 

• Lead the commercialization of digital product portfolio by working with Marketing and Commercial teams
• Take the lead in developing product management best practices and frameworks

• Create and maintain a cohesive roadmap, incorporate feedback, and adapt to evolving technological landscapes, ultimately contributing to the successful launch and ongoing enhancement of technologically sophisticated products 

• Partner with Development and business leaders when it comes to working with third parties, whether it’s evaluating APIs and capabilities, mapping out integration plans or evaluating different technology options 

• This role will play a key part of a core leadership group that will shape the future direction of the development of smart connected devices across BD.  They will work cross functionally with the business to understand the customer needs and deliver products to market with high quality and a reasonable timeframe

• Build and manage technical product management team in supporting platform capabilities supporting multiple business units 

• Take on key department wide initiatives, working with a variety of cross functional stakeholders to improve the overall technical capabilities within the organization 

• Build strong leadership teams, attract, and develop talent. Create a strong culture of collaboration, transparency, improvement, and accountability 

• Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage 

• Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly 

• Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community 

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred

• 10+ years of experience in leading digital SaaS products
• Experience in building commercial digital products preferably in the HealthCare domain
• 5+ years in a leadership role required with teams of technical product managers overseeing SaaS products 

• Leading teams across a large complex ecosystem of API first products and diverse stakeholders 

• Healthcare Industry experience is a plus. 

• Experience in building large scale/complex data intensive and application systems  

• Experience in building service-based architectures 

• Experience in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) 

• Experience in HIT Connectivity and exposure of Medical Devices Industry 

• Experience in designing, coding and debugging in multiple software languages
