The Associate Global Product Manager is responsible for managing a product line or group of product lines for the Global Peripheral IV Catheter business. Responsibilities include working with a cross-functional business team to manage quality and supply issues and support sustaining engineering efforts. The Associate Product Manager will also work directly with regional marketing partners to ensure commercial success of products within his or her responsibility.

The Associate Global Product Manager (APM) is responsible for managing a product line or groups of product lines for the Global Peripheral IV Catheter business. The APM works as a member of the Global PIVC Marketing team to support the development and execution of global marketing plans, global product launch plans and the execution of sustaining engineering efforts. The Global APM supports a cross-functional business team to ensure market access for his or her products and to ensure quality and supply. Works with R&D and cross-functional teams on sustaining engineering and cost reduction efforts to ensure alignment with customer requirements. May also support some new product development efforts.


  • Supports the Associate Director of Marketing in the development and execution of the Global Marketing Plan and Global Launch Plans (aligned with BD way of Marketing) for PIVC product lines by conducting market analysis, competitive analysis and customer research .
  • Works with Regional Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and tactical execution to meet key business objectives.
  • Functions as the product champion and owns technical , clinical and marketing expertise for the chosen portfolio
  • Ensures market access for a group of PIVC products, addresses urgent quality and supply issues as well as driving a proactive agenda to improve quality and ensure supply
  • Functions as the marketing representative for sustaining engineering and cost improvement teams. May support cross-functional new product development teams
  • Ensures timely communication to appropriate marketing and sales personnel relating to promotional materials and development of effective sales aids and clinical education support materials.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field - MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales or marketing experience
  • Understanding of key principles of marketing such and market segmentation, Targeting , competitive analysis, pricing strategy ,customer needs identification, Value Proposition and Value Offer .
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse and virtual teams
  • Ability for 10-20% travel
