Job Description

Job Title: CNC Swiss Lathes Senior Machinist
Manufacturing
Machine Operation

2nd Shift 3:00pm-1:30am

2nd Shift differential

Machine Operation sets up and operates a variety of CNC Swiss Lathes to machine Stainless Steel parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions. 

• Must be able to keep 2 machines set up and running / we are a low volume production facility.

• Read blueprints and follow work orders. Responsible for quality of work.

• May be required to run CNC mills or manual machinery.

• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

• Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and or experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Technical School Preferred

• 5 years minimum related work experience and/or training required

• Experience with CNC Swiss style lathes as well as CNC mills.

• Able to perform complete setups in a timely manner

• Ability to work second shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am with overtime on Fridays
