Clinical Project Manager

Job Description Summary

The successful Project Manager (PM) will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams to plan and execute successful clinical studies in support of corporate objectives. Additionally, the PM ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practices, & industry standards. The Project Manager also provides oversight of the day-to-day activities of project team members and conducts personnel development and line management as needed.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Director and/or Program/Department Manager or designee, the PM will:

Oversee the planning and execution of clinical studies to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget;

Coordinate the development of clinical study protocols, case report forms, and related study documents;

Coordinate the development and submission of clinical reports and clinical study data;

Oversee and review work product produced by project team members to ensure quality and compliance;

Manage external vendors to ensure that deliverables are completed on-time, within budget, and are consistent with the scope of work;

Ensure that work complies with applicable regulations, Bard policies and procedures, ISO Standards, and Good Clinical Practices;

Demonstrate understanding of Bard’s general business functions, products, and procedures and serve on multi-disciplinary project teams as a clinical subject matter expert;

Develop and implement standardized processes and operating procedures for conducting clinical research;

Create and maintain clinical project documents including detailed project plans;

Interact with investigative sites, vendors and other functional areas ;

Conduct on-site clinical monitoring/quality activities as needed
