Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Coordinator will focus on supporting Tempe manufacturing by creating work orders, placing purchase orders, help manage inventory, coordinate meetings and events as well as facilities requests. The Coordinator will also be responsible for helping manage various areas related to manufacturing.

Job Description

  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain Inventory Accuracy in production areas and conduct Cycle Counts in support of this.
    • Keep the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies room organized and properly stocked.
    • Manage the Kanban system to support MRO maintenance.
  • Manufacturing Work Order Management:
    • Prepare Manufacturing Work Order packets and release them to the shop floor.
    • Prepare Kanban work orders for material.
    • If needed, assist the team in investigating and correcting material variances.
  • Purchasing:
    • Create Purchase Orders for General Operating Supplies as required.
  • Facilities Requests:
    • Aid in the disposal of hazardous waste materials
    • Place facilities request for the plant and ensure completion.
  • Serve as the Site’s event planner/meeting coordinator:
    • Plan the Tempe plant’s team events.
    • Coordinate production weekly and quarterly meetings.
