Job Description SummaryThe Quality Systems Specialist position will ensure and promote accuracy, quality, organization, and integrity of our documents and records, and is responsible for the administration and coordination of the change control system and documentation system.
The Quality Systems Specialist position will ensure and promote accuracy, quality, organization, and integrity of our documents and records, and is responsible for the administration and coordination of the change control system and documentation system.
Coordinate the initiation, approval, implementation and distribution changes via the changed control process.
Manage the training system for the Vernon Hills General Office.
Maintain central device master documentation.
Maintain records in accordance with record retention policies.
Interface with internal and external auditors during review of the applicable quality management sub-systems (i.e. those pertaining to documentation, change control, and training).
Continuous improvement of the change control, documentation control, and training systems.
Successful completion of projects assigned by management to support business imperatives (e.g. update of documents pertaining to international expansion).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong collaboration across business functions.
Ability to aggressively drive results in multiple projects simultaneously.
Use of Microsoft Office software to generate formal procedures, control logs and databases.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with change control systems in the medical device industry.
Advanced understanding of standard operating procedures, and overall documentation systems.
