Customer Service Advisor

Job Description Summary

As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction as you will spend 90% of your time handling phone calls. You will contribute to the continued growth and success of BD by up selling and cross selling our diverse range of products. Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, this position is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence in customer care.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Process customer orders and patient prescriptions with accuracy, adhering to internal service standards.
  • Handle diary calls and manage stoma customisation requests.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing account management support.
  • Manage returned goods processing and handle customer calls related to orders and general enquiries.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Care database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

About you:

  • A first experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
  • Confident computer user.
  • Strong organisational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good at building and maintaining relationships with diverse partners.
  • A proactive mentality, identifying opportunities for up selling and cross selling.
  • Meticulous, committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
