About the role
As the Global TA Technology Systems Lead you will be accountable for supporting the Talent Acquisition Operations execution to enable BD to attract, hire and retain associates with an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience!
The Talent Acquisition team globally hire approx. 12,000 associates a year across sales, marketing, engineering, clinical, functional, and manufacturing roles based across over 70 countries. Operating as a Centre of Excellence within the HR organization, approx. 200 recruiting professionals are responsible for sourcing, attraction, business partnering, candidate management, employer branding and operational efficiency to attract top talent to BD. Operating a hybrid model, with both outsourced RPO and in-house models, a key part of this role will be driving towards a One Team and global approach.
In this role, you will be accountable for designing, revising, and implementing, technologically streamlined workflows globally to support BD’s daily recruiting operations. The main focus is to ensure the TA technology infrastructure works seamlessly and enhances all end user’s experiences (internal/external candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers).
Partnering closely with internal process owners TA, HR Solutions, Technology and Global Solutions, HR, Business and Functional Leadership, you’ll be a strong influencer with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational change experience.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Maintains a working and documented knowledge of Talent Acquisition (TA) technology infrastructure to include a clear understanding of technology integration capabilities.
- Analyzes, Identifies, and reports on global and regional technology configuration opportunities to support recruiting workflow efficiencies.
- Provides oversight and governance within TA around technology designs and configuration changes recommended for the global TA processes.
- Create detailed design flows to communicate your process design concepts to a broad range of colleagues and end users.
- Proactively identify functionality usability concerns within the design/configuration recommendations provided by internal customers.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to other team members and work closely to reach meaningful resolution.
- Suggests business process configuration recommendations focused on achieving consistency and cohesiveness whenever practicable between regional technology designs and business process configurations.
- Partners with the HR solutions teams to resolve TA technology business process issues globally to include recommendation on remediation configurations that are impactful to the end user experience.
- Direct responsibility for socializing identified design recommendation to all required stakeholders, and supporting execution with TA regional leads, HR Solutions, and/or Technology and Global Solutions team members to include tracking completion and outcomes.
- Partner with TA regional leads to understand the current and emerging technical needs of each region to inform the annualized strategic plan for TA technology design.
- Manage projects independently while exercising discretion as it relates to HR and TA matters.
- Stay ahead of and informed on industry standard processes including new and innovative recruitment workflow designs, technologies, and enhancements within the technology infrastructure already in place.
- Direct responsibility for administrative enrollment and disenrollment of end users into TA technology programs.
- Be an active member of the TA Operations team, whose goal is to transform recruitment activities into an innovative and consistently top-performing recruiting function focused on the candidate experience and internal customer satisfaction.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of 3-5 years technology design and 3-5 years technical project management experience
- Demonstrated technical experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including ATS, resume databases and other Internet/Social sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, GlassDoor, etc.).
- Ability to distill complex problems into simple and elegant experiences for a range of users across business process configurations
- Interest in collaborating and establishing relationships with internal customers, analyst, and external product management and engineering teams if applicable
- Proven observational analysis skills, ability to comprehend technical HR related systems architecture coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a highly dynamic, and ambiguous working environment.
- Able to proactively share progress, risks, and recommendations while seeking guidance, direction, approvals, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred candidate will bring consultative experiences in talent acquisition operations, global perspectives, project management covering candidate experience/service, systems, data management and reporting.
- Direct Workday experience.
- 2-4 years of user design experience.
- ATS configuration experience.
