Job Description

  • Support the definition of the technical service strategy for Latin America, working jointly with regional and country-level technical service leaders through the evaluation of results, customer demand, areas of opportunity, and global guidelines, with the objective of improving service quality while maximizing area profitability.

  • Lead and coordinate the financial planning processes for the Technical Service area, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term projections, by analyzing and aligning with local, regional, and global business expectations, in order to establish sustainable growth and profitability objectives over time.

  • Collaborate in the pricing design of technical service products, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy and global objectives by analyzing cost structures and understanding market needs related to technical service, so that service offerings meet expected profitability targets while fulfilling customer requirements.

  • Perform management control of service expenses, warranty application, spare parts inventory control, and instrument management (capital investment analysis, revenue recognition, and cost recognition). Conduct monthly reviews and cost–expense analyses, ensure expense compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain alignment with expectations.

  • Standardize and maintain internal controls related to the consignment-based (commodatum) sales model and evaluate new instrument sales models. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and reserves (warranties and spare parts inventory).

  • Act as a back up for other team members.
