Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build AEM application ensuring that the code follows best practice and industry standards
• Design and develop the business logic and backend modules of AEM
• Develop customer‑facing digital experiences using the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem—including AEM Sites, Assets, Launch, Target, and Adobe Analytics.
• Translate marketing and web site needs into AEM specific recommendations and solutions
• Deliver a robust self-service environment for the end user community
• Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps
• Create and integrate content-driven applications on AEMs core platform and integrate with E-commerce solutions and search engines
• Work with technology teams to build and maintain web applications using Adobe's Experience Manager CMS to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management (DAM)
• Partner closely with business units, product owners, marketers, and UX teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions and deliver high‑impact digital experiences.
• Implement and optimize analytics tagging, experimentation setups, and reporting configurations using Adobe Analytics and Target.
• Guide junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7+ years of experience developing websites and applications, using Adobe AEM (WCM, DAM, CRX), ability to set up and configure AEM authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environments
• Proven ability to integrate AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Target, DAM automation, and external services.
• Hands‑on experience customizing AEM workflows, metadata schemas, asset processing, and integrating with enterprise systems
• Demonstrated experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies
• Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Apache Sling, Apache Felix, Apache, and App server logs, OSGi, RESTful web services, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS
• Experience with databases like MySQL
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, LESS, JavaScript (Angular, React)
• Experience with testing frameworks in AEM
• Experience in Agile Development, as AEM developer (or similar) experience preferred
• Working knowledge of: RESTful APIs, GraphQL (AEM Content Fragments), JSON exporters
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Manager)
• Experience in pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development, and incremental design
• Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, and highly scalable applications
• Collaborative mindset—thrives in a high-trust, transparent, team-first engineering culture.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field.
