Position Summary:
​Under the direction of the Production  Facilitator or designee, the Third Shift (12 hour shift) production operator is responsible to work on production assignments. Normally receives instruction on routine work and on new assignments. Follows testing and inspection procedures. Mechanical proficiency desired to operate machinery. Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Troubleshoots areas of set-up, operation, and process. Follows QSR, ISO and Safety and environmental regulations.

Essential Functions:

• Sets up and operates machines in accordance with applicable SOPs & SMPs.

• Makes machine adjustments as necessary during manufacturing to assure product quality.

• Resupplies raw materials to machine, as frequency requires.

• Makes simple mechanical adjustments to equipment.

• Maintains machinery and area in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with QSR and department policies.

• Assures product is produced and identified according to procedure.

• Meets daily production goals.

• Completes batch production device history records.

• Follows safety rules and regulations per company policies.

• Must possess the ability to train other associates in operation/simple adjustments of the equipment.

• Performs basic arithmetic, evaluates charts and metrics and follow simple diagrams.

• Must be able to maintain neat, accurate, and complete records, logs, manufacturing documentation, and other forms.

• Must be able to use required testing equipment.

• Must be able to focus continuous attention to detail during operations.

• Must be able to maintain continuous mental and visual attention (hand-eye coordination).

• Active participation in Lean Activities.

• Performs other duties as required.

Physical Demands and work environment:

• Sometimes disagreeable working conditions. Exposed to noise, odors and dust.

• Heavy work. Requires constant moving and lifting objects. Continuous walking or standing.

Accidents if any would be related to:

• Cuts with broken glass.

• Burns with hot tanks, pipes and device in machines.

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 6 month in a team based manufacturing environment--preferred
