The Occupational Health Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining programs that ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees of CCT Critical Care Technologies, S.R.L., in compliance with local and international occupational health regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct workplace risk assessments and identify potential health hazards.

• Design and deliver training sessions on occupational health topics, including first aid, ergonomics, and handling hazardous substances.

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses, determining root causes and proposing preventive measures.

• Manage employee health surveillance programs, including periodic and pre-employment medical examinations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain up-to-date occupational health records and prepare periodic reports.

• Advise management on best practices in occupational health.

• Coordinate with external medical service providers and regulatory agencies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Nursing, Occupational Health, or a related field.

• Postgraduate studies or specialization in Occupational Health (preferred).

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or technology environment.

• In-depth knowledge of Dominican and international occupational health and safety laws and regulations.

• Relevant certifications in occupational health (e.g., first aid, CPR, industrial safety).

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

• Strong ability to identify, assess, and control workplace risks.

• Proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written). Knowledge of English is an advantage.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
