With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

About the role

Under the oversight and guidelines from the MMS Marketing Director EMEA, this role leads the local marketing and market development organisation in France and Benelux for the MMS BU.This role is a pivotal role within the France and Benelux team, requiring significant depth and breadth of marketing knowledge and experience in the markets served. Demonstrates strong business and marketing goals ownership through sensing, communicating, and developing new market opportunities and approaches for the French and Benelux markets. Identifies and leads execution of holistic strategy and marketing programs for solution adoption and value selling. Sets French and Benelux-specific strategic market priorities and program investments. Builds strong French and Benelux marketing capabilities and team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement competitive marketing strategies and business plans tailored to local market dynamics.
  • Performance Management: Set clear KPIs to track execution and impact; own business outcomes with a focus on sales growth and budget efficiency.
  • Customer-Centric Messaging: Leverage deep customer insights and sales process expertise to craft compelling messaging and tools that influence buying behavior.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless execution across functions and geographies.
  • Market Influence: Lead key initiatives and projects that shape the local market, often heading cross-functional teams.
  • KOL Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders to strengthen clinical evidence and market access strategies.
  • Marketing Expertise: Apply advanced skills in branding, communications, portfolio management, and market planning to deliver impactful campaigns​

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Drive market sensing, development, and tailored marketing mix strategies for France and Benelux.
  • Provide actionable insights through research and analytics to support EMEA leadership in strategic decision-making.
  • Lead successful product and solution launches, ensuring commercial readiness and organizational alignment.
  • Understand and influence demand drivers including pricing, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix.
  • Collaborate with EMEA Marketing on communications plans, events, and agency management aligned with brand goals.
  • Identify and implement market-shaping opportunities relevant to the region.
  • Optimize product lifecycle management for assigned portfolios.
  • Coordinate with the Switzerland-based Business Development team on managed services and bid creation, with full commercial awareness.

About you

  • Suggested minimum of 8 years of marketing/ business experience in the healthcare industry (sales, marketing, and some awareness of managed services)
  • Experience/knowledge in the medical device or life sciences industry - Minimum of 3 years in product and/or market management. Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Post-graduate Marketing qualification preferred
  • Team leadership experience is crucial together with the ability to manage managers rather than individual contributors
  • Experience of working in a large matrix organization preferred
  • Experience in market shaping and development activities
  • Proven Omnichannel experience with strong emphasis on digital marketing
  • Communicates effectively and persuasively both inside and outside of the organization in a variety of presentation settings and with senior level/exec audience
  • Change agent, champions and promotes new insights.
  • Ability to provide constructive challenge.
  • Results-driven and action-oriented with ability to be flexible and agile.
  • Takes ownership of tasks and gets things done.
  • Sets goals and priorities.
  • Able to work with direction and formulate strategies and plans.
  • Excellent mentor skills and development of team.
  • 30% travel.
  • Fluent in Dutch / English / French
