Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions at BD
As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and develop defined portfolio parts of the Vascular Access Management portfolio (MDS) within Central Europe in agreed focus markets
- Define clinical & commercial understanding and marketing development for the focused portfolio
- Analyze and deeply understand the market environment and market atlas. Identify key strategic opportunities and market segments. Develop and implement a comprehensive Marketing & Commercial Plan to develop a sustainable market presence and growth in selected MDS portfolio.
- Close collaboration with the Western Europe Marketing and Clinical organization, Public Policy and sales organization to ensure aligned customer centric approach reflecting the behavioural objectives and market needs and pains of identified segments
- Continuous analysis of the competitive environment and identification of potential future cooperation partners and product portfolio expansion,
- Build strong network and relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical associations in the defined portfolio relevant within Central Europe
- Support and implementation of digital campaigns as part of the digital transformation process towards omnichannel for selected markets.
- Responsible to achieve the overall turnover and GP targets of the defined portfolio.
Preferred Requirements:
University degree level in business administration or marketing
- Sales and/or Marketing experience (minimum of 3 years) as well as a clinical or healthcare background/experience required
- Strong analytical skills to clearly identify customer needs and requirements
- Successful experience in downstream and upstream business development
- Experienced in strategical as well as tactical planning
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to liaise with different teams and experience to lead teams and projects
- Potential and willingness to develop into roles with increasing responsibilities
- Fluency in German and English with the flexibility to travel
- Self-reliance with the ability to drive for transparent results
- Customer Centric personality with the ability to cooperate within diverse and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to set priorities with the aim to meet defined business and growth goals
- Reliable personality able to deal with ambiguity showing strong communication and interpersonal skills within all team levels and scopes
