Job Description Summary

This position involves providing scientific training, experimental support, and on-site and remote guidance for BD Single Cell and Multi Omics solutions to customers and internal teams across the BeNeLux and North-West German region. The position is centered on teaching, supporting, and transferring advanced laboratory competencies to customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include conducting structured training sessions, supporting experimental design, guiding workflow implementation, and offering scientific troubleshooting or escalating to subject matter experts when required. The role reports to the Single Cell Multiomics Application and Support Manager for Europe and requires experience with molecular techniques, especially Single Cell Sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing, real time PCR, and familiarity with experimental design and data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

  • Deliver remote and on-site training, educational sessions, and demonstrations of instrumentation, reagents, protocols, and workflows.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for research groups and internal teams.
  • Offer scientific consultation and methodological guidance in MultiOmics experiments, with emphasis on single cell multiomics workflow implementation.
  • Support basic data analysis and bioinformatics using BD Rhapsody Single Cell Analysis System tools.
  • Develop and maintain teaching materials, learning resources, and FAQs.
  • Identify and report complaints per current guidelines, support complaint resolution.
  • Stay current on new products and procedures to ensure effective support.
  • Collaborate with commercial and product management teams.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and case handling on CRM software.
  • Communicate professionally and follow up promptly with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology or Genomics, ideally with 2+ years in industry. Hands-on expertise in single-cell analysis and genomic applications such as NGS, library/sample prep, digital PCR, and qPCR. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for NGS/scRNAseq analysis; experience with flow cytometry is a plus.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European language is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); basic command line and R/Python knowledge is a plus.

Field based with a travel schedule travel as the need arises (up to 70%) with-in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and North-West Germany.
