Als Staff Electrical Engineer ist Deine tägliche Arbeit im Sustaining Engineering verankert: Du sicherst die Zuverlässigkeit, Konformität und langfristige Verfügbarkeit bestehender Produkte und Plattformen und entwickelst diese gezielt weiter. Gleichzeitig bringst Du Deine Expertise in aktive Entwicklungsinitiativen ein, prägst technische Entscheidungen und schaffst zukunftsfähige Lösungen für neue Produkt- und Plattformanforderungen.

Dabei bist Du mehr als eine technische Ansprechperson: Du verbindest Systemdenken mit Umsetzungskraft, bringst interdisziplinäre Teams, Standorte und Lieferanten zusammen und löst Herausforderungen dort, wo sie entstehen – auf System- und Organisationsebene. Du definierst technische Standards und Arbeitsweisen innerhalb der Fachteams und der übergreifenden BD-Organisation, entwickelst Kolleginnen und Kollegen als aktiver Mentor fachlich weiter und schaffst Lösungen, die unsere industrielle Automatisierung nachhaltig voranbringen.

Deine Wirkung in dieser Rolle

• Technische Richtung geben: Du führst die Analyse, Überarbeitung und Weiterentwicklung komplexer elektromechanischer Systeme, Komponenten und Baugruppen – sowohl im Sustaining bestehender Produkte als auch in aktiven Entwicklungsinitiativen.
• Produkte und Architekturen zukunftssicher machen: Du treibst Problemlösungen, Lebenszyklusmanagement und Konstruktionsänderungen voran und entwickelst elektrische Systemarchitekturen im Einklang mit Produkt-, Plattform- und regulatorischen Anforderungen weiter
• Quality Gaps und Risiken nachhaltig beherrschen: Du erkennst wiederkehrende Qualitätsprobleme, technische Risiken und systemische Schwachstellen, analysierst deren Ursachen und etablierst wirksame Verbesserungen über Produkte, Teams und Standorte hinweg.
• Technologien und relevante Themen vorantreiben: Du bewertest technologische Entwicklungen und nicht standardisierte Handlungsfelder, schaffst Klarheit über Ziel, Nutzen und Beteiligte und überführst geeignete Ansätze in Standards, Konzepte und konkrete Initiativen innerhalb der BD-Organisation.
• Anforderungen in robuste Lösungen übersetzen: Du steuerst elektrische und systemische Anforderungen, wählst Komponenten fundiert aus und sicherst Entscheidungen durch Berechnungen, Simulationen und Konstruktionsanalysen ab.
• Qualität und Nachvollziehbarkeit sichern: Du erstellst, prüfst und genehmigst Schaltpläne, Stücklisten, Schaltschrank- und Kabelbaumkonstruktionen sowie die zugehörige technische Dokumentation gemäß Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
• Wirksam verifizieren: Du definierst und unterstützt Design Reviews, Erstmusterprüfungen sowie Testplanung, Testdurchführung und Auswertung der Ergebnisse.
• Partner und Schnittstellen zusammenbringen: Gemeinsam mit internen Fachbereichen, Lieferanten und Auftragsfertigern gestaltest Du Konzepte, löst Probleme und stellst eine hochwertige Umsetzung sicher.
• Wissen multiplizieren und Lücken schließen: Du übernimmst eine sichtbare Mentorrolle, förderst den Wissensaustausch und arbeitest aktiv daran, fachliche, organisatorische und prozessuale Lücken innerhalb des Fachteams sowie team-, funktions- und standortübergreifend in der BD-Organisation nachhaltig zu schließen.

Was Du mitbringst

• Fachlicher Hintergrund: Studium der Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar
• Erfahrung: Umfassende und langjährige Erfahrung in Entwicklung, Weiterentwicklung, Sustaining und Integration komplexer elektromechanischer Produkte und Systeme.
• Technische Führung: Verantwortung übernehmen, Entscheidungen herbeiführen und Orientierung geben.
• Systemverständnis: T-förmiges Kompetenzprofil mit Tiefe in elektrischer Hardware, Systemarchitektur, Verifizierung und risikobasierten Methoden.
• Methodenkompetenz: Strukturierte, faktenbasierte Arbeitsweise sowie Erfahrung mit Design Reviews, DFMEA und Design for Six Sigma.
• Regulatory & Safety: Kenntnisse der Maschinenverordnung, EN 60204-1, IEC 61010-1, EMV, Messtechnik, Safexpert und SISTEMA.
• Kommunikation & Mentoring: Klare technische Kommunikation, aktive Vernetzung und Entwicklung anderer.
• Dokumentation: Sichere GDP-konforme Dokumentation.
• Sprache: Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Werkzeuge
• CAD & 3D: SolidWorks oder vergleichbare Tools.
• Electrical Engineering: EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical Schematics oder vergleichbare Systeme.
• Office & Systeme: Sehr gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse; Jira- und ERP-Erfahrung von Vorteil.
