The Operations Analyst is responsible for delivering comprehensive reporting support to the Operations teams. This role takes the lead in gathering, interpreting, and analyzing diverse data sets to produce meaningful insights and actionable analytics. A key focus is the validation of distributor sales tracings and inventory trends to identify opportunities for improved accuracy and enhanced data integrity. Responsibilities include quantifying, reconciling, evaluating, and transforming both internal and external information into clear outputs and strategic recommendations that enable the achievement of organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • As the subject matter expert for distributor data keep track of sales, inventory trends, and market insights to assist with inventory projections 
  • Partner with Operations and Distributor Relations to gather reporting requirements and build new reporting capabilities. Includes performing data validation, trend modeling, combining multiple data sets, and stakeholder testing of reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy, usability, and self-serve capabilities as required. 
  • Responsible for the management, continual customization and development of dashboards, reports, forms, templates and models utilizing varying technologies (QlikView, Power BI, PowerPivot, Excel, VBA Macros, Access etc.) in support of the distribution business. 
  • Collect and organize monthly Cardinal data to produce useful outputs and insights via Power Bi dashboard  
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities 
  • Support product costing analytics process 
  • Analytics related to source changes, transportation lanes and product and customer segmentation related to key metrics such as forecast accuracy (FCA) and on time in full (OTIF).

Education and Experience required:

  • University degree
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience with data validation and data reporting analytics

Knowledge and Skills requires:

  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities: Conditional Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Modeling required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, Power BI required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP, Power Query/DAX, and Salesforce.

Our salary or hourly rate rangesrewardassociates fairly and competitively. We regularly review these ranges and factors, such as location, contributeto the range displayed.

Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered isdeterminedby therole'sspecific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the worklocationwhich may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.
