Job Functions

- Optimize manufacturing processes, including the use of engineering methods (for example, SIX Sigma and Lean methods) for the continuous improvement of the process and / or redesign / design of equipment, tools, accessories, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, using technical design techniques.

-Develop moderately complex experiments and tests (including writing and execution of protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports

-Ensure that the processes under your property comply with current practices through the process of change control

-Analyze and solve basic manufacturing and compliance problems (for example, CAPA, non-conformities, audit observations ).

-Develop training and documentation materials (for example, work instructions) for production in order to allow the uninterrupted transfer of knowledge of the manufacturing processes and projects.

-Identify opportunities for the redesign / design of basic equipment, tools,

accessories, etc. to improve manufacturing processes.

-Supervise manufacturing support tasks; give instructions to the technicians about conducting tests; train technicians and provide feedback; and coordinate the technical work.

- Other additional tasks may be assigned by the area leader.

Education/Experience

- Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field.

- 2 Years of previous experience

- Previous experience working with laboratory / industrial equipment (Preferred)

- CAD experience (Preferred)

Required Skills

Good computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite

• Good documentation, communication (for example, written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills, including consulting skills and relationship management

• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques

• Solid understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering

• Solid problem solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Solid knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work.

• Strict attention to detail.
