Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
 Ensures compliance with Safety, Environmental, and Ergonomic policies and procedures.
 Assures line metrics are clear and posted in the production line and they are communicated to the line personnel.
 Follows up the execution of every work order in the production plan.
 Communicates to the next production shift the plan progress and main issues.
 Continuously monitors the production process to make adjustments or improvements for a better line performance.
 Applies the 5 s’ Lean tools to ensure line elements are clean and organized.
 Supports quality and cost improvement projects.
 Gives continuous feedback and motivates line personnel to achieve goals and commitments.
 Ensures the follow-up of good practices to receive new collaborators in order to maintain turnover rates lower than local market rates.
 Supervises the Process Auditors group in the unit to assure that the processes are maintain robust, consistent and free of defects.
 Master Control Consultation.
 Takes part in safety incident(s) investigation(s).
 Trains Leader Operator, Universal Operator or Back up.
 Daily communication meeting with their personnel.
 Organizes his/her work team and distributes resources.
 Schedules vacations, leave, withdraws, filling in the respective memo.
 Planning of extra time, with its respective authorization form.
 Resolve situations or labor conflicts with Operators. Maintains discipline.
 Assists in daily planning and production meeting.
 Participation in meetings on biweekly rotation, weekly absenteeism and takes actions.
 Participation in continuous improvement programs.
 Support for engineering projects.

 Provides support, supervises and participates in the decision making in assignments and tasks of the
Leader Operator and the Universal Operator.
 Follow up open actions of Tier III daily meetings.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor/Engineering degree completed.
Five years minimum experience as production supervisor preferred.
GMP / ISO knowledge preferred.

Language Skills: Beginner
