The Product Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of product marketing deliverables that align with strategic business objectives. This position collaborates closely with Product Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams to execute key deliverables, ensure timely approvals, and maintain consistency across platforms. Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing Deliverables
Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers to execute deliverables, including behavior-based segmentation, customer personas, brand positioning statements, benefit ladders, and differentiated claims that support strategic business objectives
Coordinate with internal designers and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Copy Review & Approval
Manage the end-to-end copy approval process to ensure timely review and delivery of content to regional partners
Liaise with legal, regulatory, and medical teams to secure necessary approvals and maintain compliance.
Marketing Excellence Support
Assist with training sessions led by the Associate Director of Marketing Excellence
Maintain and distribute the BD Way of Marketing Tools catalog to regional and platform partners as needed
Support events, conferences, and other marketing initiatives
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Systems Support
Organize and maintain digital libraries, licenses, and other systems as required to ensure efficient access, version control, and brand consistency across global marketing teams
Education and/ or Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Foundational understanding of core marketing principles, including:
Customer personas, behavior-based segmentation, and targeting
Insight generation, brand positioning statements, and benefit ladders
Creative briefs and messaging frameworks
Differentiated marketing claims
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
