As a Senior Line Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal leadership role by mentoring other Line Supervisors on shift. You will be responsible for making final decisions regarding staffing priorities, resource allocation, and escalation. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team towards achieving operational excellence and maintaining high standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Schedule: Day Shift - Rotating Schedule 5 am to 5:30 pm.

Join our dynamic team as a Production Shift Leader where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our manufacturing operations every day. This hands-on leadership role puts you at the heart of our production environment, empowering you to drive performance, mentor team members, and champion continuous improvement.

Key Opportunities & Responsibilities

  • Lead from the Front: Immerse yourself in the action by spending your time on the production floor, providing real-time guidance and support to your team while maintaining visibility and accessibility.
  • Orchestrate Success: Strategically coordinate resources and priorities throughout your shift, making key decisions on staffing to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Champion Safety Excellence: Create a culture where safety comes first by promptly addressing any concerns and ensuring all team members return home safely each day.
  • Develop Future Talent: Shape the growth of your team by overseeing comprehensive training plans that build skills and create advancement opportunities.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Conduct daily touchpoints with associates to support the Equipment Owner program, focusing on Safety, Quality, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Inspire Through Communication: Foster an environment of open dialogue between team members and management, ensuring all voices are heard and valued.
  • Practice Servant Leadership: Demonstrate your commitment to the team by actively supporting timely issue resolution and embodying our company values in all interactions.
  • Lead with Foresight: Anticipate challenges before they impact production, showcasing your proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Orchestrate Daily Success: Prepare and lead engaging Tier 1 production meetings that align with our Line Centric Organization team objectives.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee the execution of daily Pit Stops, maintain accurate visual management displays, and drive root cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure precision in quality checks, work order documentation, and inventory management through effective Kanban practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 3 years relevant experience

  • 1 year leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS Degree – Science, Industrial management, Business, Engineering or a related field and 1 year relevant experience

Skills:

  • Technical amplitude and basic understanding of machinery preferred. 

  • Experience in high volume automated production environment preferred.   

Work environment:

Personal Protective Equipment must be worn and may include a hair net, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and/or ear plugs. This associate may be expected to stand for long periods of time during their shift.
