The Analyst, Sales Intelligence is responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization and drive operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide support for the design and enhancements of customer analytic tools for internal stakeholders to assess strategic customer & product opportunities and insights
Responsible for data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management, and reporting)
Support and overlook sales force effectiveness initiatives, specifically around sales management, planning, marketing and other parts of the business to promote sales excellence through metrics management, analysis of sales results, customer segmentation and targeting
Perform complex and custom analysis to support innovative approaches to gain additional customer insights and model new incentives to support those strategies
Provide accurate/timely data in a usable/automated format to visualize trends related to products and portfolio using internal and external data sources
Provide input and assistance in setting strategic direction (business priorities, requirements) to teams (Finance, IT,) managing Dashboards and Analytic Tools, External Sources and projects
Support change management efforts (e.g. training) to ensure successful application of incentive modeling and analytic tools.
Participates in key projects as assigned by leadership
Works closely with multiple business units and US Region to develop insights leading to profitable growth opportunities
Has depth and breadth of experience, knowledge and skills in business analytics
10% Travel required for this position
Qualifications
BA/BS required (strong preference for Accounting, Business Analytics, Statistics, Math, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Actuarial or Computer Science), or 3+ years of related experience in the applicable area
Strong understanding of business strategy, and strong relationships with General Management, Finance, Accounting, Sales Leadership, Legal, IT and Human Resources
Strong understanding of data relations, standardization and analytics as it relates to Medical Device products and services.
Related experience in data visualization and mining tools (PowerBI, Qlik, SAP BI experience a plus)
Experience in implementing new processes/systems and improvement of process efficiency
Analytical problem solver with solid business and financial acumen. Able to evaluate key business drivers and analytics to assist in the development of clear strategic recommendations
Proven ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels of organization.
Ability to articulate complex concepts, thought leadership and the business value of solutions in a clear, understandable way
Strong communications experience
