Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead PI Global Standard Work and best practices of supply planning, inventory management, and distribution operations to ensure global backorder targets are achieved.

  • Lead the PI S&OE process, improve global communication, and drive appropriate supply management decisions.

  • Track and report performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis to identify supply chain risks and lead mitigation actions.

  • Responsible for proactively communicating supply-driven business risks and opportunities to leadership.

  • Drive actions to optimize inventory globally. Establishing targets and managing finished goods inventory levels to meet Customer Service goals.

  • Develop global inventory allocation strategies as needed, which may include production prioritization and global Regulatory build strategies

  • Optimize inventory deployment globally to ensure minimal obsolete or expired product. Responsible for product phase-out planning such that obsolete inventory is minimized

  • Work collaboratively with regions, plants, supply chain, and finance to deliver updated projections and annual budgets.

  • Provide input for SKU rationalization, RECODE, and other lifecycle management initiatives

  • Work collaboratively with an extended supply chain team to recommend and drive planning parameter updates in support of inventory commitments, service level targets, lead time variability, demand forecast variability, and product life cycle management.

  • Eliminate non-value-added work and replace with automation where appropriate.

  • Drive standardization of supply planning processes and automation of reporting, planning data, process, and KPIs.

  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations as required.

  • Leverage Lean Concepts and Six Sigma tools to develop and effectively implement advanced Supply Chain solutions, processes, and systems improvements.

  • Leverage Advance Planning and ERP technologies to provide full WIP and product visibility through the supply chain.

  • Define and lead (PI Supply Chain Planners) in the implementation of Global Standard best practices across PI.

  • Standardize / improve Supply Chain planning processes with BU and Puerto Rico BOC.

  • Teach, improve, and coach PI Supply Chain Planners as the Kinaxis subject matter expert.  Find supply chain planning and distribution inefficiencies and improve.

  • Validate PI Data tools (Power BI tools, etc.) and Standardize reporting and analytics.

  • Special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have strong experience and knowledge of demand/supply/production planning, forecasting techniques, inventory management, capacity leveling and logistics

  • Multi-year experience with planning systems, ERP systems experience required

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts impacting the business strategy

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven record of strong teaming skills

  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively engage with multiple levels of management and cross-functional organizations (Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.)

  • Advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data

  • Demonstrated customer-centric focus and experience dealing with global markets

  • Detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrated ability to be effective in a dynamic and energetic matrix organization with continuously changing program constraints

  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations required; Masters or MBA strongly preferred. 

  • A minimum of 7 years Supply Chain and/or Operations. 

  • Demonstrated experience working in ERP systems (e.g. Kinaxis. JDE, SAP).

  • ASCM/APICS (CPIM, CSCP) certification desired, required within the first 3 years.
