As a BP&A BU Partner for MMS, you will be responsible for building & reviewing quarterly financial forecasts (bottom-up) and annual budget, as well as Month End Close analysis for the BU in the EMEA RegionJob Description
Your Responsibility:
- Implement FP&A practices within the MMS Business Unit.
- Apply best practices in line with the Simplify & Standardize approach.
- Communicate the FP&A calendar across the MMS EMEA organization.
- Own the P&L and financial reporting for the MDS Business Unit within the region.
- Collaborate with BP&A MMS Partners and the BP&A MMS BU Analyst.
- Work closely with MMS SGA Analysts.
- Analyze and explain variances between CCP and FSM, as well as RevP and FSM.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all data provided to stakeholders.
- Maintain communication with the Global Reporting Team regarding specific reports.
- Serve as the first point of support for the BU Controller in monitoring P&L performance for the MMS BU region.
- Partner with SGA Analysts to address inquiries and performance related to expenses.
- Partner with CBL to address questions related to revenue and gross profit performance.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team on topics such as inventory and shipment-related data.
- Work alongside the Controller to prepare and validate financials.
- Participate in review calls and meetings with CBLs for ASR, Budget, and PRJ preparation, ensuring targets are met and providing guidance on corrective actions when needed.
- Attend calls and meetings with the Controller for MEC purposes.
- Prepare Risks & Opportunities (R&O) and Outlook.
- Act as a sparring partner to EMEA Business Leaders.
- Contribute to cross‑finance and BU‑specific projects.
- Conduct P&L and ROI analysis for projects.
- Identify and explore value‑creation opportunities.
- The role includes team management responsibilities such as providing training and onboarding for new team members, supporting the BP&A MMS Team indirectly, participating in the recruitment process, developing and retaining analysts, helping to prioritize tasks, and offering indirect guidance to SGA Analysts by supporting workload distribution, defining priorities, and sharing best practices.
About You
- Understanding and application of corporate finance tools, techniques, and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting, and planning techniques
- Very good analytical skills & presentation skills including excellent expertise level in Excel
- Good knowledge of BPC reporting tools is a plus
- 5 - 10 years of experience in working in BP&A, Shared Service Center / Center Of Excellence, External Audit Company or in a large international business environment
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance or related field (Accounting / Controlling)
- Proficient English (additional Language skills are of benefit)
- Dedication to Partnership & co-operation, information sharing but also flexibility changing environments
