Job Description Summary

Account Manager SM manages the main sales projects in Poland, with an emphasis on building BD's position as a partner for the healthcare system, using the entire portfolio of BD solutions. Coordinates the process of sales activities, conducts them directly at the customers in consultation with the Clinical Specialist and the Sales Manager. Has comprehensive and full knowledge of clients (their needs, challenges, strategies) and projects implemented by clients. Is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with people occupying top management positions in the client's organizational structure and for identifying and developing sales projects in response to the client's strategic needs. It directly affects the sales activities of customer managers and the customer's purchasing process.

Job Description

As Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Gaining new customers (public and private) as well as ensuring retention and satisfaction of existing users of BD Vacutainer blood collection system
  • Adapting and implementing consultative selling process to public tenders regulations in Polish healthcare system
  • Working daily with CRM system to maximize sales process efficiency
  • Participating and supporting tendering department in applying for tenders for blood collection systems
  • Training and supporting customers on effective and efficient usage of BD Vacutainer blood collection system
  • Collecting and evaluating the market information on preanalytical systems including KOLs mapping, end-users pricing, competitors’ overview, market potential
  • Cooperating with KOLs to promote BD Vacutainer
  • Contribute to local marketing communication activities
  • Cooperating within with other BD  businesses to approach the market with cross-business value proposition
  • Supporting teamwork: sharing of ideas and information within team mates
  • Ensure BD Values, professional and ethical standards are maintained.

  • Tracks current sales processes on each level (customer, CS, SFDC, ON)
  • Knows and understands the sales model in his/her business and region.
  • It shows the possibilities of improvement, integration, and synergy of existing processes.
  • Is responsible for tracing business efficacy and improve its profitability if needed

  • Excellent communication and networking skills as well as very good presentation and negotiation skills
  • High degree of autonomy: ability to take ownership of tasks and get things done.
  • Effective in time pressures and / or large workloads
  • Asks questions in case of insufficient information

About you:

Languages

  • Good command of English
  • Fluent in Polish

Experience

  • Educational background in the laboratory medicine, biology, or biotechnology, molecular biology
  • 1-3 years track record in the diagnostic industry on sales related position, with proven success
  • Knowledge of laboratory processes and techniques in molecular biology and/or microbiology
  • Good orientation on the medical devices market and its opinion-forming environment is a plus
