Team Overview

The Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team liaises cross-functionally, sharing responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, modification, improvement, access, and governance of financial accounting and reporting systems with the goal of ensuring the accurate recognition and reporting of financial activity. GFS is a business partner to the Global Finance organization, providing training and issue resolution and has a key role in influencing Integration and Continuous Improvement projects.

As a member of the GFS team, this role provides operational support across Finance Master Data functions during APM integration, BDB/DS divestitures and OneFinance.

This is a fixed term position that ends on 12/31/2027. 

This role will provide support for Global Finance and will play a pivotal role in supporting Finance Master Data Management, system and user support in various reporting systems, system and user support in various ERP environments, projects and continuous improvements and other duties/support as required.

Core responsibilities/Accountabilities in this Role:

Master Data Management:

• Understand Financial master data creation and maintenance of:  Company code, Profit Centers, Group GL accounts, Operating GL accounts, Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Functional Areas, Trading Partners, etc.
• Key contributor in upholding the established master data governance process
• Support audits involving the master data governance processes
• Assist integration projects in defining, implementing and governing use of master data in new applications and tools
• Understand Financial Master Data and transactional flow of multiple source systems to consolidation and reporting systems

ERP, Reporting System and User Support:

• Liaise with IT and end users to resolve issues, maintain systems and applications and implement break fixes
• Facilitate month-end close:  End user support and troubleshoot issues in ERP environments and reporting environments

Projects and Continuous Improvements:

• Liaise between IT and Business by developing detailed business user requirements, system documentation, training and workflow procedures for projects and Continuous Improvement efforts
• Develop training and other processes to support and develop Finance end users
• Assist integration projects in defining, implementing and governing use of master data in new applications and tools

• Works independently with minimal guidance
• Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
• Analyzes and designs functional process improvements
• Utilizes technology to automate financial processes
• Supports the implementation of finance systems with in-depth customer service, internal control, data governance and project management skills
• Acts as a resource and mentor for stakeholders and colleagues with less experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Demonstrated aptitude towards use of systems and applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting
• Experience working in SAP FI/CO
• Experience working in SAP BW/BI
• Experience using SAP BPC
• Experience using JDE
• Experience using Reltio Master Data Application
• Experience using PowerBI applications
• Proficiency using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite of products
