Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, implement, and operate the site EHS management system and programs and implement the necessary actions with a risk-based and structured approach. 
• Drive site proactive and preventative safety culture, improve workplace safety by associates’ engagement
• Determine EHS site goals and responsibility system. Effectively influences them to be strong EHS Leaders within their areas of responsibility.
• Monitor and maintain records and permits of hazardous, biohazardous materials, and waste in compliance with all applicable local regulations. 
• Discover wastes reduction opportunities and continuously improve to help the plant achieve its 2030 sustainable goals.
• Responsible for job related external and internal audit, ensure 0 major findings or notice of violation.
• Ability to interpret environmental laws and permit requirements, stay abreast of the changing regulatory landscape, and analyze the various options for complying with new regulations and permit requirements. 
• Lead and organize site task risk assessment, ensure all associates comply with the safety standard procedure, master hazard identification method and report ESOs
• Conduct job site assessments, focusing on unsafe conditions and unsafe work behaviors; ensure appropriate action is taken to correct deficiencies. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Capable of communicating, articulating risks, issues, ideas, plans, and proposals to all levels of the organization as well as influencing others without direct authority. 
• Develop site EHS training plan and organize resource to implement training as plan. 
• Lead Occupational Safety and Health Administration and investigations, analysis and follow up action.  Lead Emergency Response Team in case of Safety, Health, and Environmental hazard
• Lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety Kaizen project.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the department.
