Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Manage the Global Transportation rate cards
- Reflect and maintain the most up to date information on lane specifications and providers used on each lane. Implement leakage controls and reporting deviations from rate card.
- Create new lanes / decommission discontinued lanes in the global freight database.
- Automate the Rate Card Management Process by leveraging existing or new proposed tools
- Communicate updated rate cards to FP&A external partners and internal stakeholders
- New carrier account creations
- Ensure timely creation of all new global carrier accounts to support RFQ implementations
- Liaise with regional stakeholders to support onboarding of Freight Audit and Pay processes
- Spot quote support :
- Approve spot quotes in Keelvar globally to award the best carrier according to service and rates
- Assist on the Keelvar administration (System updates, account creation)
- Invoice Approvals
- Approve invoices for “out of rate card” shipments (LCL, spot, etc.)
- Assist the North America Regional Team on international transportation invoice approvals – To be confirmed
- Assist the Global Transportation team in the approval of equipment moves across the globe
- Coordinate this activity and suggest cost optimization opportunities
Position Requirements
To excel in this role, the Global Transportation Coordinator should have a proven track record in transportation and logistics, along with a strong ability to connect and interpret transportation data globally and identify dependencies in the data sets.
- A Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in international transportation or shipping roles.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with regional teams and external partners.
- The ability to analyze and organize data to propose automation opportunities
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel & Power BI is required. Python and Javascript are a plus.
- Ability to carry out short to long term initiatives and meet firm deadlines.
- Operates with a constructive mindset under pressure and meets expectations with quality work.
