Opportunity Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Cyber & Digital Risk Management (C&DR) team at BD. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvement and providing insightful data analytics to support our cybersecurity operations and maturity. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, process improvement, and experience with Power BI or a similar tool.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, document, collect, analyze, transform, interpret and report data to provide actionable insights for the cybersecurity team.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize operational, management and executive metrics.
• Conduct data quality assessments with data product owners and ensure the consistency and integrity of data across multiple reporting platforms and data sources to ensure business objectives are met.
• Perform analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
• Create and present operational, management and executive reports to team leaders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Design and maintain portfolio metrics dashboards to track the performance of cybersecurity initiatives.
• Support the development of maturity models, performance scorecards, ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRI) to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the data management strategy which includes the architecture and management of the technology stack.
• Build automated data pipelines and optimize queries for performance and scalability where possible using tools and languages such as Databricks, Python, Fabric, SQL, R, etc...

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in data analytics and visualizations or related field.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and data analysis tools and software.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, lakes, medallion architectures and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
