Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of finished medical devices and components according to established procedures and specifications.

  • Verify product labeling, packaging, and serialization for accuracy and completeness.

  • Identify and document non-conforming materials, defects, and discrepancies using appropriate quality control forms and systems.

  • Perform in-process inspections as required to monitor and ensure quality throughout the production process.

  • Review production records, batch documentation, and other relevant paperwork for completeness and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with production personnel and quality engineers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, adhering to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.

  • Provide clear and concise communication regarding inspection results to relevant stakeholders.


Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or medical device environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality specifications.

  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and quality management systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards is a plus.

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
