Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Oversee and conduct training and development of Direct Labor employees including Cross-Training, Periodic Training, BOP Review, personal development classes and other Manufacturing related training.

2. Establish and coordinate Orientation/Onboarding and On-the-Job Training for new Manufacturing employees.

3. Establish and manage competency framework for all new and existing Manufacturing employees according to the respective areas.

4. Responsible in establishing and sustaining Certification and Re-certification process for Manufacturing employees.

5. Establish approach and methodology for continuous improvement of training for Manufacturing.

6. Ensure proper administration and filing of training documentation for all Operation areas, such as On-Job Training modules, Cross-Training modules, Periodic Training, Product Knowledge and Defect Awareness. 7. Establish and sustain BD Excellent People framework for Manufacturing training.

8. Conduct needs assessment and analysis and propose training recommendations to address gaps identified from cross-functional quality processes.

9. Design and develop training content and material for technical training, schedule and deliver training for associates in Manufacturing. 10. Revise and continuously improve training documentation and materials to keep pace with learning best practices and technical changes.

11. Publish and prepare reports on training delivery and effectiveness for associates’ development and progress.

12. Create and execute learning strategies and programs for manufacturing associates.

13.Interact regularly with production floor management to resolve training concerns.

14. Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

LIMITATION OF AUTHORITIES:

  • N/A

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:

  • Preferably Degree in Human Resource and/or Management, or other disciplines.
  • HRDF Train the Trainer certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • 5 years experiences in training, preferably within medical industry

EXPERIENCE:

·Effective Oral/Written Communication in English - Proficient

·Ability to work as part of a team / Teambuilding - Advanced

·Independent thinking / Self Driven - Advanced

·Decision Making Ability - Proficient

·Troubleshooting / Problem Solving - Proficient

·Computer Skills / Microsoft Office - Advanced

·Financial Acumen – Basic

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and well organized.
  • Excellent computer skills, familiarity and proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint ( and preferably with multimedia background or experience).
