Job Description

Join our Field Service team in Norway as a Field Service Engineer, supporting some of the most advanced systems in our portfolio. Based in the Oslo area, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing sophisticated instrumentation used by our customers. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines technical expertise with problem-solving and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues
• Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on COR instrumentation.
• Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software and using established procedures and techniques.
• Determine the most efficient repair/solution to ensure minimum downtime.
• Perform instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).
• Actively manage your car stock, ensuring all vital spare parts and tools are available.
• Effective management of technical escalations.
• Cover Norway with occasional travel throughout the Nordic area.
  

Preferred Requirements:

• An engineering degree or proven experience in field service engineering.
• Experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of advanced, complex technical systems.
• Fluency in English and in Norwegian.
• Adaptability to work with diverse product ranges and stay updated on new technologies.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Competence in IT, a valid driver's license and commitment to travel.
