Job Description Summary

Responsbile for process engineering work in Venflon. This position shall be responsible for continuous improvement projects and process improvement to drive cost reduction and improve productivity.
Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

1. Job Description

1.1. Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.

1.2 Identifies and plan improvement projects for productivity improvement.

1.3 Project management for Venflon improvement projects. Responsible for change control, MSA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and implementation to production. Includes developing process FMEA, work instruction and manufacturing documents and training of operators to perform validation activities.

1.4. Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.

1.5. Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.

1.6. Participate in manufacturing projects when required.

1.7. Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.

1.8. Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
