About Us

BD has been operating in Brazil for 65 years and employs 1,600 associates who work together to fulfill our purpose of advancing the world of health™. Our goal is to improve medical discovery, diagnostics, and the delivery of care with solutions across the full spectrum of the patient care journey – from diagnostics to treatment to intervention.

We are proud of our support for Brazil’s public health programs. For 35 years, BD has been an important partner of the National Immunization Program, and for the past 25 years we have supported the SDT/AIDS Program, which sees 300 specialists from 95 laboratories trained to provide care for over 300,000 patients every year.
